‘Wow’, ‘MOTM’ – Many Leeds fans blown away by ‘most underrated player in the league’ in 4-0 win

Mateusz Klich has discovered some of his best form for Leeds United in the last few weeks – and fans have been making that very much known on social media.

The 29-year-old midfielder was on top of his game once more on Saturday as the White won 4-0 against Hull City at the KCOM Stadium.

According to WyScout, the Poland international assisted two of those goals while also covering pretty much every blade of grass on the pitch, based on the heatmap below.

Klich was tremendous and has been for weeks with the former FC Twente midfielder also scoring the winning goal in the 1-0 victory at Middlesbrough on Wednesday.

Many have said that Kalvin Phillips’ return from suspension has led to Leeds’ sudden up-turn in form but it would be crazy to ignore the fact that Klich has also played a massive role in that.

There is a reason why he has started every single Championship match since Marcelo Bielsa was appointed in charge of the Whites in 2018 and we cannot wait to see where he goes from here because you still get the feeling he can play even better.

But for now, a lot of fans are thrilled with the 29-year-old’s form and, most recently, his performance in the mauling of Hull.
