‘What the hell is going on?’, ‘Embarrassing’ – These fans savage Sky Sports post about Leeds

Something quite extraordinary happened on Monday Night Football on Sky Sports – if you’re a Leeds United fan anyway.

Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher both heaped praise on Leeds despite their 6-2 defeat against Man United on Sunday.

That sort of result would normally lead to a team and its manager getting ripped apart but Neville was absolutely enthused by the Leeds project – and, just to make it better, it’s seriously wound up fans from rival clubs.

“I’ve watched four games from Leeds United this season,” said Neville. “How can we watch what we saw yesterday… the game against Man City was one of the best 45 minutes I’ve seen in the last 10 years working at Sky… that yesterday was breathtaking.

“I haven’t got anything to bad to say about them. They’ve just come up from the Championship and they’re a breath of fresh air.”

Let’s not forget, this is from Neville, a massive United player/fan.

Carragher said, “I love watching them.”

Losing 6-2 isn’t what Leeds set out to do, especially not at Old Trafford.

But, Neville is bang on – and most people accept that he’s the country’s best pundit.

Without that 6-2, you don’t have the Man City game which was astonishing, probably the most exciting game of football we’ve watched in years.

Leeds have been involved in the most goals in the Premier League. They’ve been involved in 15 goals in their last two games.

Despite being hammered by United we only lost the last two games 8-7 on aggregate.

Let’s not forget, either, that we are without two senior centre-backs and a third went off injured against Man United.

However, the comments from Neville and Carra attracted lots of attention from other fans who are absolutely livid about the praise.

Here are the best reactions to what Leeds do best – boiling blood worldwide.
