‘Very inaccurate’, ‘Madness’ – Many Leeds United fans hit back at EFL tweet
Leeds United fans are not happy with a tweet from the official EFL account which shows the results of a poll for the EFL team of the decade.
Former Leeds players Kasper Schmeichel, Ian Harte and Billy Sharp have all been named in the best XI of the 2010s but none of them have really been included because of their contribution at Elland Road.
There are definitely some questionable omissions from the team.
As Leeds fans, the first thing you ask is ‘where is Pablo Hernandez?’. He has probably been Leeds’ best player of the last decade and he should definitely be included in there while Ross McCormack probably should have gotten in there ahead of Jordan Rhodes.
And then you have players who aren’t associated with Leeds like Troy Deeney, Adel Taarabt, Diogo Jota and Ruben Neves. Why aren’t they in there?
It is hard to please everyone with things like this and it was voted for by the public so we cannot moan about it too much.
But still – where is Pablo!?
Some Leeds fans have made it clear they’re not happy with the team and here is a selection of their tweets:
In other Leeds United news, here’s what Mateusz Klich told this Leeds midfielder about Bielsa before he joined the Whites.
