‘This is what I want to hear’, ‘Love to see it’ – Many Leeds fans blown away by Sky journo claim
Leeds United fans are blown away by the news that Marcelo Bielsa has fully agreed a new year-long contract with the club.
According to Sky Sports Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Bielsa has reached an agreement with Andrea Radrizzani.
Di Marzio’s claim is further backed up by a video on Instagram which features Radrizzani showing the Italian journalist Leeds’ new Adidas kit hours after the update on Bielsa went online.
It seems that Radrizzani told Di Marzio this himself, which suggests to us that the story on the Italian website is completely true and we can expect an announcement to be made by the club soon.
Leeds fans are, understandably, delighted with the update on Bielsa’s contract.
Bielsa had technically been out of contract since the end of last season and while his future wasn’t exactly up in the air, many supporters wanted clarity on the manager’s situation as soon as possible.
While Di Marzio’s update is not an official update just yet, it’s as good as Leeds fans can get right now and they are absolutely thrilled on Twitter.
Here is a selection of their tweets:

Bielsa has spent two seasons at Elland Road and while it may be a bit premature, we think it wouldn’t be over the top to hail him as a club legend.
Leeds spent way too long outside the Premier League and not only did the Argentine bring a brilliant style of football to West Yorkshire, he also took the club back to where it belongs in the top-flight.
He’ll go down among the Don Revies and the Howard Wilkinsons when his days at Leeds are over, simply for rescuing the Yorkshire giants when they needed rescuing.
Thankfully, those days are not going to be over any time soon.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites have made a bid to sign this 23-year-old English forward.
