‘This is so, so, so wrong’, ‘Anti-Leeds’ – Many Whites fans react to Sky Sports Twitter message

Sky Sports has asked fans to pick their Championship goal of the season so far and plenty of Leeds United fans are up in arms.

The trouble is Sky have managed to leave out Luke Ayling’s wonder strike against Huddersfield.

If you haven’t seen Ayling’s amazing volley, that crashed in off the bar in the opening minutes of the game, check out the video below that shows it from various wonderous angles.

Yes, it’s that good.

The goals that Sky Sports have picked out are decent but, while we’re biased, we’d say that Ayling’s strike kicks them all out of the park.

Leeds went on to win the game against Huddersfield 2-0 after Patrick Bamford doubled the lead and that was the last game that was played before the season was suspended.

It actually seems odd watching the Ayling goal and looking at the limbs in the stands. That seems like a whole world away at the moment.

Plenty of Leeds fans reacted to the Sky Sports tweet and the majority of them were asking why Ayling’s goal hadn’t been included.

One said it showed “anti-Leeds” bias while another just said it was “so, so, so wrong”.

We agree. If we’re pushed, and in the absence of Ayling’s strike, we’ll go with Ashley Fletcher’s strike against West Brom.

That sealed the points in a shock 2-0 win for Middlesbrough and has helped leave Leeds on top of the table. Where they will hopefully end the season.
