Hull City manager Grant McCann did his bit on Thursday to add even more drama to the last week of a January window that is already promising to be frenzied for Leeds United fans.

McCann revealed at his press conference that Hull might be forced to sell star Jarrod Bowen if he doesn't accept their offer of a new contract.

Leeds United have been reportedly readying a £3m loan bid that would rise to £15m to make the deal permanent if they get promoted – and fans want owner Andrea Radrizzani to pounce now to make sure the move happens.

It was the first time today that McCann had admitted that Bowen might have to be sold and it's left Leeds fans very excited.

Bowen is a winger not a striker but he's a prolific one.

He's scored 16 goals in 28 league games this season, which puts him just behind the leading strikers in the Championship.

Leeds might be on the lookout for a striker but Bowen would fit into the Leeds side brilliantly and would definitely be Premier League-ready.

And one Leeds fan had a cunning plan involving Bowen that would see Marcelo Bielsa develop him into a striker. Two birds. One stone.

Other Leeds fans have just resorted to pleading, with one saying "Please sign Jarrod Bowen" ten times in one message and tagging in owner Andrea Radrizzani.

Here are the best of the rest of the reactions from Leeds fans on Twitter today...
