Some Leeds fans thrilled with Radz response to Twitter troll: ‘Love it’, ‘Class’, ‘Best owner’
Leeds United fans are loving Andrea Radrizzani’s response to a troll on Twitter after he was called an “Italian chancer”.
Radrizzani has owned Leeds since May 2017 and after a couple of disappointing seasons has overseen a major rise in the Championship to the point where the Whites are serious promotion contenders.
Leeds are second in the table at the halfway point of the league season and eight points clear of third-placed Sheffield Wednesday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s appointment as manager last year has played a major role but Radrizzani has still been behind an incredible transformation at Elland Road.
Not bad for a so-called “Italian chancer”.
After seeing he was called that on Twitter, Radrizzani responded brilliantly via his personal Twitter account.
“Merry Christmas. Love to you and family. Have a good one,” the Leeds chief said.
Is there a better way of responding to a troll by killing them with kindness?
A section of Leeds supporters were delighted to see Radrizzani shut down that person in the way that he did and here is a selection of their tweets:
