Patrick Bamford let the world know exactly how he felt about the offside decision that robbed Leeds United of a goal in the game against Wolves on Friday night.
Bamford finished brilliantly but the linesman flagged for offside and VAR upheld the decision, even though it looked really, really, tight.
One fan posted the VAR image that purports to show it was offside but with the naked eye it clearly looks like Conor Coady’s trailing leg was playing him onside.

The goal was chalked off and Leeds ended up losing 1-0 to a really unlucky goal.
Adama Traore fired off a brilliant shot that crashed against the woodwork and back into the goal off the back of Illan Meslier.
After the game, Bamford didn’t hold back and tweeted, “Gutted for the lads tonight, robbed of a point but at least it’s “mAkInG tHe GaMe BeTtEr”.”
Gutted for the lads tonight, robbed of a point 🥴 but at least it’s “mAkInG tHe GaMe BeTtEr”🧐 we go again Tuesday #mot

Plenty of Leeds fans reacted to the tweet, with most agreeing and one saying it was a “disgrace” of a decision.
Some thought he was risking punishment from the authorities, with one saying that he would get a three-match ban.
However, we think the tweet falls just on the right side of what’s acceptable.
It was the second time this season that Leeds have lost 1-0 to a lucky Wolves goal, and the second time Bamford has come up against VAR, after having his arm ruled offside earlier in the season.
In the reverse fixture, a shot deflected in off Kalvin Phillips’ head and into the net.
Leeds fans don’t have to wait long to see their side put it right, though. Leeds host Southampton at Elland Road on Tuesday night with the chance to go back above Wolves if they win.
Here are the best reactions to Bamford’s tweet…
Great finish and a disgrace of a decision Patrick. On to Southampton

The offside rule needs simplifying. They should go by where the attackers feet are compared to the defenders feet! I don’t believe VAR,s vertical lines and horizontal lines up to the knee(or other body parts) can prove to be accurate at all !!

Good on you Pat. Players need to be speaking out against VAR, or more so, how it’s interpreted. https://t.co/MyHVvtwZgQ
