‘Get in’, ‘Yesss’, ‘Can’t wait’ – These Leeds fans thrilled by official EFL Twitter message

Leeds United are dominating Twitter at the moment, winning almost every fan poll that’s getting set-up.

The power of the Leeds fan base has led to the FA showing the Man United v Leeds classic in its entirety on Tuesday night.

And Luke Ayling is currently monstering a poll set up by Quest for goal of the season with a massive 88% of the vote.

In the past couple of weeks, the BBC has shown a special on 100 years of Leeds United and Sky has devoted an afternoon to show highlights of our season so far.

Imagine what it’s going to be like when we’re back in the Premier League.

The EFL is the latest to provide the Leeds content we all need while we’re on lockdown.

It sent a tweet out on Monday evening with a simple question: “Fancy watching every goal you’ve scored this season, @LUFC fans?”

You know what? We don’t mind if we do.

And plenty of Leeds fans were loving the content, if not the provider.

We’ve had our fair share of fallouts with the EFL over the years but we’ll call a truce for now, while we enjoy the goals.

And plenty of Leeds fans feel the same way with one saying “Can’t wait to get [back] to Elland Road”.

Another supporter couldn’t resist a dig despite the EFL providing almost six minutes of glorious Leeds action, saying “I can tell you’re going to miss us. Less clicks and less £££.”

Here are the best reactions to the EFL’s latest bid to harness the power of Leeds…
