‘Does this mean what I think he means?’, ‘Break the bank’: Many Leeds fans excited by Radz tweet
Leeds United fans are loving the interchange between Brighton and a young supporter who offered to pay part of a transfer fee to take Ben White to Elland Road permanently.
On Saturday, Brighton uploaded a picture of the letter they received from five-year-old Daniel Auton and included an image of their response.
Of course, Brighton do not want to sell White, 22, to Leeds because he is a great young player but that didnโt stop the south coast clubโs chief executive Paul Barber from responding publically.
Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani has since seen the letter from the young fan and has added that he will โtop upโ the current transfer offer โ which sits at ยฃ15.07.
โGreat job Daniel! You are welcome to join the club and help Victor Orta after your school, We will top up your offer for Ben and go back to Mr Barber,โ said Radrizzani via his personal Twitter account.
While Radrizzaniโs tweet is probably not something to take seriously, a lot of Leeds fans have been excited by the Italianโs seeming admission that he is going to table an offer for White.
White has been the stand-out defender in the Championship this season, playing every minute of every match for the Yorkshire giants.
He definitely has the potential to play for England and a top Premier League club in the future based on how heโs done this season at Elland Road so we all hope to see him join permanently.
And that is why so many Leeds fans on Twitter are drooling over Radrizzaniโs tweet.
