Stach ‘perfect for the Premier League’ after Leeds transfer – Exclusive
Leeds have completed the signing of Hoffenheim midfielder Anton Stach.
The 6’4′ powerhouse joins the Elland Road outfit on a four-year deal to add some much-needed physicality to Daniel Farke’s side.
The 26-year-old boasts top-level experience, having featured 122 times in the Bundesliga across his stints with the PreZero Arena outfit and Mainz 05.
The Whites already boast a strong engine room with the likes of Ao Tanaka and Ethan Ampadu, as well as Sean Longstaff, who was signed from Newcastle.

Stach tipped to shine at Leeds
Leeds will hope that Stach can adapt to the demands of a new style of football very quickly, to make the most of his impact in their survival battle.
German football journalist Marie Schulte-Bockum believes that the two-cap international will have no problem with the pace of the English top-flight.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, she said: “He is perfect for the Premier League, tall, physical, great passer of the ball.
“With his profile, he can play as a centre-back in a back three, a back four or as a number six or eight (he came up as a midfielder but Hoffenheim frequently used him as a CB last year).
Asked whether he would slot into the starting line-up straight away, Schulte-Bockum said: “I don’t know enough about Leeds’ squad, but in terms of playing style, it’ll be a quick transition for Stach.
“A lot will depend on how he adapts to English life mentally, I think. Some struggle more than others.”

Leeds have bagged a real coup with Stach capture
Schulte-Bockum’s comments show how highly-rated Stach was in Germany, and the Whites have picked up a real coup with his signature.
He will be one of the better players in the bottom half of the top-flight next season, and the fact that they have secured him for less than £20million makes it a great deal.
His imposing frame makes him a huge threat in the air, but he is also effective on the ground too, it should be a very exciting capture for the Peacocks.
Now the focus must be on securing a replacement for Illan Meslier and another attacker to complement Joel Piroe.
