Raphinha unrest in dressing room, he thinks he’s better than Leeds United – Sky Sports pundit
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United...
Paul Robinson is worried Raphinha might think he’s better than Leeds United amid speculation linking him with a move to Barcelona.
Raphinha’s agent Deco is reportedly in advanced talks with Barca [Fabrizio Romano] while the 25-year-old winger’s form has notably dipped since the January transfer window closed.
Victor Orta has recently spoken to Radio Marca to confirm there’s no active release clause for Raphinha in the Premier League while he also bigged up his relationship with Deco.

Still, Robinson is concerned about Raphinha’s attitude and suggests that there could be some issues behind the scenes for the Brazil international.
“Raphinha is a top-class player and when he performs, he’s one of the best there is,” Robinson told MOT Leeds News.
“But after the last season that he’s had, there may be a little unrest in the dressing room and maybe he thinks, towards the end, that he’s better than Leeds.
“I wouldn’t stand in the way of a deal to let him go at all.

“I’d make sure they fully maximise the price and invest that money back in the squad to make sure Leeds stay in the Premier League next year.”
Raphinha is due to return to action with Leeds this weekend when they take on Southampton at Elland Road on Saturday [2 April].
The ex-Rennes winger missed the last game before the international break due to COVID.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay’s been raving about an English midfielder who he’s heard linked with the Whites.
