QPR controversy missed v Leeds United, they should have been penalised
Keith Hackett has hit out at Steve Cook after he used his arm to deny Mateo Joseph a chance in the game between Leeds United and QPR on Saturday.
The Whites cruised to a 2-0 victory over the Rs at Elland Road on 9 November but could have had at least one more after Cook seemingly used his arm to block a ball coming off Joseph inside the box in the 35th minute.
Hackett believes Cook was fully aware of what he was doing and the handball was not unintentional, insisting Leeds should have been awarded a penalty.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Hackett, a former FIFA referee and PGMOL chief, said: “The player has raised his arm and knows exactly what he’s doing.
“He’s made his body shape bigger and should have been penalised in this instance.”
It did not matter in the grand scheme of things as Daniel Farke’s side had no trouble beating the visitors and staying within two points of Sunderland and Sheffield United. It allowed the manager to give Manor Solomon a start without being concerned about his form.
The Elland Road outfit are placed third in the Championship with 29 points after winning eight and drawing five of their 15 games so far.
Dropping four points in their last four games has seen Leeds surrender one of the automatic promotion spots to Sheffield United.
They will be hopeful of reclaiming it in the weeks after the November international break.
