Power shift at Leeds United as Andrea Radrizzani verdict emerges after manager announcement
We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United...
Dan Plumley has insisted that there will be a real power shift on show at Leeds United between the 49ers Enterprises and Andrea Radrizzani.
The Whites finally announced Daniel Farke as their new manager on Tuesday 4 July, before the takeover was greenlighted, meaning the Italian will have been involved.
The finance expert admitted that the takeover added another complex factor into the mix at Elland Road, with negotiations likely involving everyone.

“This is where they’re in that period of flux,” he exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
“You’ve got the takeover that is one element, and the manager as well. They are linked as whatever negotiations had taken place at whatever time, it may have included previous owners and new owners with the power shift of who takes over and where it goes.
“The bottom line is, pre-season is upon us and clubs are back training with friendlies soon, so, from a football point of view, you want that manager in place as soon as possible, but it links with the takeover.
“You’ve got that dragging in so it’s another complex factor to throw into the mix, but you will imagine at some point that negotiations have been had between all parties.”

Leeds fans have had enough of Radrizzani sticking his nose in things, as was proven when he sent a message to Farke on social media after the announcement.
The sooner this takeover is 100% sorted and we can move on, the better.
