'Perfect opportunity' – Exclusive: Robinson reveals what will get Leeds title bid back on track
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…
Paul Robinson isn’t overly concerned at the recent form of Leeds that’s seen them go seven games without a win, and thinks two wins and two new signings will see them back on track for the Premier League.
Leeds lost their third consecutive game on Saturday, going down 1-0 to QPR, and that was the third match in a row where they’ve failed to score.
Leeds are still second in the Championship but the chasing pack is catching up and Nottingham Forest could close to within two points if they win tonight.
However, Robinson thinks a dip like this is normal in the Championship.
Talking exclusively to MOT Leeds News we asked Robinson if he thought the Leeds players were suffering mentally from the pressure on them.

“No, I don’t think so,” said Robinson. “You always have dips in the season, it’s normal.
“What’s important is how you come back from the dip and Leeds have got the perfect opportunity against Millwall at home next Tuesday.
“They’ve got two home games coming up, then away at Forest and they’re crucial games now. It’s how you bounce back.
“With two victories on the board against Millwall and Wigan, Leeds could be right back on track for the Premier League.
“Come February, two wins, plus a couple of signings, it could be a whole different outlook for the rest of the season.”
Leeds are still battling to bring a new striker in to replace Eddie Nketiah, with the club holding onto the possibility of signing Southampton’s Che Adams.
That could hinge on Southampton signing a new striker themselves, with Adams currently involved with the first team under Ralph Hasenhuttl.
He came on for the last 10 minutes in the 2-0 win against Crystal Palace on Tuesday night.
