We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…
Paul Robinson has predicted a huge win for Leeds tonight and thinks they’ll “brush aside” Luton in an exciting 4-0 thrashing.
Leeds bounced straight back in spectacular fashion after losing to Cardiff 2-0 in the first game back since lockdown.
And Robinson thinks that, along with home advantage, will prove too much for struggling Luton tonight.
Talking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Robinson said, “They were outstanding on Saturday against Fulham – they played then how I expected them to play against Cardiff.
“The Cardiff game was a jolt but their performance at the weekend was brilliant.
“It’s the perfect game for them now, against Luton. I can see them brushing Luton aside comfortably, Luton are struggling, second bottom.
“Leeds now, if they pick up six points from three games the Cardiff loss just won’t seem that important.”
“They enjoy playing at home and I can see them winning easily. I’m going with a 4-0 prediction.”
The reverse fixture was a lot closer with Leeds needing an own goal in injury time to secure the win.
However, they looked ominous in the second half against Fulham and we can’t imagine any club wanting to travel to Elland Road at the moment.
A 4-0 win would mean six points and seven goals in the last two games, without conceding.
If that’s not promotion form, we don’t know what is.
