Paul Robinson raves about Leeds United owner Radrizzani stance on European Super League

We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist, each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…

Paul Robinson has hailed Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani for his response to the European Super League in recent days.

Radrizzani has been heavily opposed to the ESL, taking to his Twitter account a number of times to express his anger towards the now-ruined project.

The Italian businessman dubbed it “The One Day League” in a tweet after it’s collapse while in another, he said the E”SL will “kill dreams of clubs, players and fans”.

“He’s very calculated, he’s very clever with what he says, he doesn’t say things for the sake of it,” Robinson told MOT Leeds News.

“We don’t often hear from him but when we do he speaks a lot of sense. He needed to speak and he’s spoken very well again.”

We’re proud to have an owner like Radz.

Not only has he played a massive role in getting Leeds into the Premier League after almost two decades of Championship and League One football, he has also shown himself to be someone we can trust, who loves football and who loves the fans.

He won’t let us down.

Radrizzani knows the value that football holds and he also has a really good gauge on what fans want.

Remember the ridiculous attempt to get a new badge for Leeds? It was horrific. But Radz listened to the fans and he scrapped the plans.

If all football club owners were like Radrizzani, the sport would be better off.
