We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United
Paul Robinson has said that if money was no object he’d love to see Harry Winks sign for Leeds.
The 25-year-old Tottenham player has only started seven games for Jose Mourinho this season and Robinson thinks he deserves better.
He said that Winks would get into any of the other top-six sides in the Premier League.
Talking exclusively to MOT Leeds News Robinson said, “Harry Winks would be a great signing, I’d love him to come to Leeds.
“He’s a great player, I rate him really highly.
“He’s been unlucky at Spurs not to get more game time because I think he could get in any of the top-six sides. He’s a great player.
“If he came to Leeds it would be a real coup. Harry Winks and Ben White would be a great start to the summer and I expect Leeds to spend big again.”
Harry Winks could play either in defensive midfield or in central midfield and there’s no doubt he’d be a fine addition to the side.
The 25-year-old has been at Spurs his entire career and had got himself in the England side but it’s not been a great season for him.
