Paul Robinson expects Bobby Kamwa to leave Leeds United
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…
Paul Robinson suggests Bobby Kamwa will be leaving Leeds United this summer despite him having one year left on his contract.
The 21-year-old is in the final year of his contract at Elland Road and has had a trial at Rotherham this summer.
According to the Rotherham Advertiser, Kamwa failed to win a deal with the Millers but it seems as though he’ll still be on the lookout for a new club.

That’s the view of Robinson, who cannot see things panning out too well at Leeds for Kamwa.
“He’s 21-years-old with one year left,” Robinson told MOT Leeds News.
“If he was only offered a two-year deal at 20 and you were sent on trial to Rotherham, your future at Leeds doesn’t look overly bright.”

Kamwa has not only failed to get into the Leeds first team but he also struggled to play regularly for the Under-23s last season in their Premier League 2 Division 2-winning campaign.
He only started eight times for the Whites’ reserve team and managed to get just two goals in the whole campaign.
Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood have been well ahead of him in Mark Jackson’s pecking order so the time is definitely right for Kamwa to be moved on.
We hope that he can find a new club soon but the fact he’s been rejected by Rotherham doesn’t bode well for him getting a contract at a League One club.
He may have to drop to League Two or even non-league to get his senior career kickstarted.
In other Leeds United news, everything indicates the Whites are set to sign this international midfielder.
