Patrick Bamford dilemma raised amid Leeds United exit verdict – Exclusive
Patrick Bamford finally made his return to the Leeds squad at the weekend, having endured a troubled campaign at large.
Leeds United still have promotion in their sight, though a drop in form has seen them drop out of the top two as it stands.
Their most recent 1-1 draw with Luton Town provided even more disappointment, with the Whites now having won just one of their last six Championship encounters.
However, throughout that period, Bamford has had no influence whatsoever, and a summer exit could be on the cards.

Leeds may struggle to offload Bamford in the summer
Leeds were unsuccessful in their attempts to sell Bamford in the winter window, though those attempts are likely to resurface again in the summer, with or without promotion.
However, Paul Robinson, when speaking to MOT Leeds News, thinks it will be a difficult task.
When asked if he would be at Leeds next season, he said: “Certainly not in the Premier League, no. I think he’s been blighted by injury again, played very, very few games, and when he has been fit, he’s spent most of his time on the bench. He had that one really, really good season, and I think for him, he’s not been able to hit those heights again.

“I think he’s a player that Leeds will be looking to move on, but as you quite rightly say, when you look at his record over the last 12, 18 months, the games that he’s missed and the minutes that he’s played, it doesn’t really add up for a team going, do you know what, yeah, we’re going to take a chance.
“Nobody’s going to pay big money for him, but he’s going to have to go and find somewhere that will give him the opportunity to play like he did two or three years ago.”

Leeds have clear summer priority
Joel Piroe has scored goals this season, but concerns have still emerged over his ability to be the leading striker at Elland Road.
Simply put, the Whites need to sign a striker this summer, regardless of which division they are in next season, though those needs will be amplified further if they are playing Premier League football.
Focus for now will be on promotion, but Leeds have some huge decisions to make in the summer.
