Manor Solomon injury update emerges ahead of Leeds United v Sheffield United
Leeds United attacker Manor Solomon is unlikely to play the 90 minutes against Sheffield United on 18 October at Elland Road, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that while it’s likely he’s back in full training by now, given the length of his setback, playing him for the full game would be a big risk.
This comes after the Yorkshire Evening Post reported on 15 October that the Israel international is expected to return to the fold for the game against the Blades.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Solomon: “He will need to be able to get through individual training and then team training with an acceptable level of discomfort afterwards.
“He is dealing with a back and hamstring issue so the ramp up could be a little longer for him.
“Even though he’s likely to be back in full training by now, it’s highly doubtful he’d play 90 minutes off the bat as that would increase the risk of re-injury.“
Manor Solomon could also play at number 10 for Leeds United

Daniel Farke has primarily used him on the left wing but he’s also capable of operating in a more central position as the number 10.

It remains to be seen how many minutes the club physios sanction Solomon to play on Friday night.
In other Leeds United, an update has emerged on the club’s quest to finalise the Cheikhou Kouyate transfer.
