Luis Sinisterra to be left out of Jesse Marsch XI as Leeds United team news v Arsenal predicted by Sky Sports pundit

We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…

Paul Robinson wants Jesse Marsch to leave Luis Sinisterra out of the Leeds United starting line-up for this weekend’s clash against Arsenal at Elland Road.

Sinisterra, 23, was suspended for the draw with Crystal Palace last week but is available to return on Sunday (16 October) to play top-of-the-table Arsenal.

However, despite his electrifying form prior to his red card against Aston Villa, Robinson wants to see the Colombia international left out of the side this weekend in favour of an unchanged starting line-up.

“I actually like the look of the team, I liked the starting 11 against Crystal Palace,” Robinson told MOT Leeds News.

I liked Harrison, Rodrigo and Aaronson in behind Bamford. Rodrigo, for me, is unlucky because he’s better as a number nine.

I think the number of goals he’s got and his form this season dictates the fact that he should be given the opportunity to play as a nine. But he’s unfortunate because he can play any position behind the striker or as a striker which makes the manager’s decision easy.

For me, on paper, it’s possibly the strongest 11 they could field without Luke Ayling.

Cooper and Koch look like the preferred partnership at the back, the formation is going to have Roca and Adams holding and then the three behind Bamford – that’s the strongest three attacking midfielders you could play.

Bamford will play because he’s missed so much and they rely heavily on him for goals.”

Ayling is fit and available for Leeds but it seems summer signing Rasmus Kristensen has clinched the starting spot in Marsch’s line-up.

Junior Firpo, Leeds’ only out-and-out senior left-back, is set to miss out again versus Arsenal, meaning Pascal Struijk is likely to continue there.

Adam Forshaw is also expected to be unavailable for the trip to Arsenal.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites could place financial sanctions on a London club due to an expected twist in the last couple of weeks.
