Leeds United urged to seal Callum O’Hare transfer in early Elland Road push
Dan Bardell has urged Leeds United to sign Callum O’Hare from Coventry City on a free transfer as his contract runs out this summer.
TEAMtalk has reported (13 June) that the Whites are one of three teams who are interested in signing the midfielder once he leaves Coventry.
Burnley and the newly promoted Southampton want the Englishman this summer with Leeds the latest to enter the hunt for him.
Sky Sports and talkSPORT journalist Bardell has suggested that Leeds should move for the 26-year-old ahead of another Championship season.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Bardell said: “I think that would be a good signing for Leeds. I like that he is a sharp, intelligent footballer and I like that he works really hard as well.
“He potentially could get a Premier League move, you could say, but Leeds would be good for him and he’d be good for Leeds.
“It would be good business to get a player on a free transfer who has been a very good Championship player over the years.
“I’d have no worries about him fitting in and I think he’d suit Daniel Farke’s style of play. That would be a brilliant signing for Leeds and a huge loss for Coventry.“
Leeds United interested in Callum O’Hare
The attacking midfielder is out of contract with Coventry City this summer and he now looks set to depart at the end of the month.
He is free to talk to other clubs before signing a pre-transfer ahead of next season with plenty of clubs showing an interest.
If he were to sign at Elland Road this summer, he may prove to be a replacement for the likes of Crycensio Summerville who has been linked away.

With midfield option Ilia Gruev also being rumoured with a move away from Elland Road, he could be an option in the centre of the pitch as well.
Despite not being like for like, he brings determination as well as an eye for goal and flair which would certainly make him a fan favourite.
On a free transfer, the Whites couldn’t go far wrong by signing the Englishman this summer as they look to build and prepare for another promotion race.
In other Leeds United news, Newcastle expected to spend most of their budget on position with Whites’ star a target.
