Leeds United: Rasmus Kristensen could be forced out of Elland Road in brutal Daniel Farke call
Paul Robinson expects Daniel Farke to push for Rasmus Kristensen to leave Leeds United permanently in the summer transfer window.
Kristensen struggled for Leeds last season as they were relegated from the Premier League and has spent this season on loan with Roma.
There have been suggestions that the Whites will welcome the defender back at the end of the campaign if they are promoted to the top flight [Graeme Bailey].
However, Robinson believes last season proves Kristensen is not good enough for Leeds, even if they do need cover in that area.
“Daniel Farke will want to do his own thing with his own players,” Robinson told MOT Leeds News.
“There’s a reason some players are not at Leeds this season and that’s because they weren’t good enough in the Premier League.
“My argument would be, why would you incorporate players who weren’t good enough in the Premier League last season back into your squad?
“Full-back is a position Leeds will look at, but he’s not one who would walk into the squad, so Farke should be allowed to do what he wants.
“Farke has earned the right to do what he wants with the squad. Yes, you inherit a squad, but these players were not good enough last season.”
What position does Rasmus Kristensen play?
Kristensen is as versatile as they come, having played in five different positions during his time with Roma this season.
As per WhoScored, he has been used 13 times at right wing-back, making that his favoured position at Stadio Olimpico.

The Denmark international has also played six times as a pure right-back, twice at centre-back and once at left-back.
Kristensen’s ability to play in multiple positions could therefore come in handy but, as Robinson says, Farke will want his own players.
If Leeds can get a fee for Kristensen and bring in another defender, that would surely suit everyone involved.
