Leeds United transfer news as Falaye Sacko claim emerges
Leeds United target and Montpellier right-back Falaye Sacko is not injury prone but his habits off the pitch may still need to be looked into, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that he faces the risk of setbacks due to the lack of game time in the 2023/24 season.
This comes after AfricaFoot reported on 6 July that the Whites are keen on the 29-year-old to replace Archie Gray.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Sacko:
“Lack of consistent game time will typically lead to increased risk of injury, particularly if the player is being asked to play consistent minutes.
“The keys that Leeds could look out for would be his fitness metrics along with his habits on and off the pitch.
“The positive is that he’s not been injury prone so it shouldn’t raise any red flags in pre-transfer screening.“
Leeds United must sign Falaye Sacko
The 29-year-old defender has played in top European leagues and has 42 caps for Mali, showcasing his adaptability and skill.
He would be a good fit in Daniel Farke’s system and offer much-needed solidity on the right side of their defence.

He’s versatile, much like Gray, and can also play as a centre-back so he could add to the depth in that position as well.
In other Leeds United news, a bidding war update emerges as the Whites want to sign an £8.5m-rated attacker.
