Leeds United ‘to sign’ Manor Solomon as uncertainty emerges
Manor Solomon could make a permanent switch to Leeds United next season, having impressed during his loan spell from Tottenham.
Leeds United appear to be on course to achieve promotion this season, and while it has been a team effort, several players have stood out more than others throughout the campaign.
One of those players is Manor Solomon, who, despite struggling in the early period of the season, has since found his feet and established himself as one of the most important players at Elland Road.
Having joined on loan from Tottenham, Solomon has looked a level above most in the Championship, leaving Leeds with a crucial decision to make in the summer.

Leeds must pursue a permanent deal for Solomon
Tottenham are believed to be keen on sanctioning a summer departure for Solomon, and Paul Robinson believes that Leeds need to follow through on that.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Robinson said: “He’s contracted until the end of next season. If Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham send him out on loan this season, there’s obviously no place for him there.
“He’s not a young player waiting for potential, waiting to develop. He’s a very good player and I like him. He’s found that level in the Championship, but he’s not actually hit that level in the Premier League, which is why Tottenham have allowed him to go and move out on loan.
Leeds | Appearances | Goals | Assists | xG + xA |
Manor Solomon | 28 | 7 | 7 | 9.48 |
“The question mark would be, can he do that in the Premier League? But everything suggests this season, the way that he’s played, the way that he’s performed, that he can do that in the Premier League.
“I think there’ll be a few more coming looking for him, but it’s important for Leeds to get there first because he fits that system.”

Daniel Farke will be keen to keep Leeds squad together
While Leeds aren’t fully aware of which league they will be in next season, it certainly appears as though it will be the Premier League.
With that in mind, retaining the majority of your squad can often be crucial to any survival chances, while also adding quality in areas that need it.
This summer promises to be a crucial one for the Whites, but for now, the focus must be on achieving promotion from the Championship as we approach the final 11 games of the season.
