Leeds United to avoid cause for alarm as transfer priority emerges – Exclusive
Daniel Farke will be hoping for several more arrivals at Leeds United this summer.
Gabriel Gudmundsson is the latest arrival at Elland Road, following the additions of Jaka Bijol, Lukas Nmecha and Sebastian Bornauw.
Leeds’ initial priority has seemingly been to strengthen their defensive line, and they appear to have achieved that with the additions made so far.
However, there is still a lot of work to be done this summer, with two clear areas of the squad needing some serious attention in the coming days and weeks.

Farke needs a new striker and goalkeeper
As soon as Leeds achieved promotion back to the Premier League, everyone highlighted the need for a new striker and goalkeeper.
However, those are the two areas yet to be bolstered by the whites, and Paul Robinson has expressed the importance of that being their next priority.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, he said: “I’m surprised that they haven’t brought players in to play in those areas, but it will still be a priority.

“It’s just difficult to get deals done, isn’t it? I think in this day and age, deals are more and more complicated due to the number of people that are involved.
“There are so many different factors that are involved, and when you’re trying to get deals for better players over the line, you’re not going to be the only one that’s trying to get the deal done for the player.
“But deals are not that straightforward. I suspect that a striker and a goalkeeper were Leeds’ priority, and I suspect that still is the case, and there’ll be deals and conversations bubbling away in the background.
“Should we get to a week before the season and that still hasn’t been done, then there’s cause for alarm.”

Leeds must accelerate striker plans
Goals win games, which is a rather overused cliche in football, but it’s a very accurate one, and as it stands, Leeds don’t have someone proven to be capable of scoring at this level.
That needs to change immediately, with the importance of a solid goalkeeper not far behind it.
Several players could leave Leeds this summer, which will open up more doors when it comes to investment opportunities.
