Leeds United star linked with ‘Huge’ transfer already – Sky Sports pundit

We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United

Paul Robinson has admitted that Leeds United sensation Archie Gray being linked to Borussia Dortmund already is “huge” ahead of the January transfer window.

ESPN has reported that the German giants are seriously looking at numerous young talents ahead of January around Europe with Gray being one of them.

The Sky Sports pundit did admit, however, that the 17-year-old is already at a massive club and his future could depend on promotion this season.

Leeds United

“With Dortmund, you look at what they’ve done with previous youngsters, you look at where they develop them and give them opportunities,” he exclusively told MOT Leeds News.

“Jude Bellingham has been the most recent and probably is their finest example of that, but I think Archie Gray’s future is decided on what league Leeds are in next season.

He’s had an outstanding start to his career, and let’s not forget it’s such a fledgling career, we’re a third of the way into the Championship season, maybe a bit more and it’s his first season in the first-team so to be linked with the moves he is linked with is huge.

Leeds United

He is playing at a huge football club in Leeds, the magnitude of the support, the stature of the club, it’s a massive, massive football club whether they’re in the Championship next year or the Premier League if they get the opportunity to get up, there may be a decision for him to make on his future.

I think with a lot of Leeds players, a lot will be decided on what league they’re in like it did this year.”

In other Leeds United news, Farke has axed one player from the squad altogether despite him being available.
