Leeds United star Dan James injury update shared by Doctor with rare setback
Leeds United attacker Dan James is ruled out with a rare injury to his ribs and core, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert reacted to the news from the club’s official platforms on 23 April that he’s had a cartilage setback and an oblique abdominal muscle tear.
While the club ruled him out for 26 April, Friday’s trip, to QPR, there is a slim chance of him being out for the reason.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about James:
“This is quite an uncommon injury for footballers and it’s also a setback that can be quite serious.
“He’s got injuries on his ribs and his core muscle and while he has been ruled out for Friday, I’d imagine him to be out longer.
“There’s a chance of him missing first-team football for weeks.
“Whether or not he’s out for the reason, remains to be seen, but there is a chance of that happening as there’s a month left.”

With 13 goals and seven assists, James has significantly contributed to the team’s success.
His pace and attacking prowess have been vital assets for Leeds, making him a valuable player in their lineup.
