Leeds United squad tipped to switch off by Sky pundit amid Premier League schedule development
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United...
Paul Robinson is divided on whether or not a two-week gap in the schedule is a good or bad thing for in-form Leeds United.
Jesse Marsch’s men have built up a real head of steam in recent weeks, winning three and drawing one of their last four Premier League matches to move nine points clear of the relegation zone.
However, their 3-0 win at Watford is being followed up by a 16-day break before the Whites face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday, 25 April.

Robinson admits there’s a worry Leeds could lose their momentum in that time but he also says there’s a silver lining in the fact that Marsch’s men will be well-rested before their final six games.
“It’s a shame because they’ve got the momentum but in a way, it’s good after the result they got last weekend,” Robinson told MOT Leeds News.
“It’s a time when they can maybe relax and switch off for a couple of days and build up towards the finish of the season.
“I don’t think it’s come at a bad time for them.

“Yes, they’ve got momentum but they’ve had a lot of games and to have that break now, off the back of such an important win, I don’t think it’ll do them any harm.”
Leeds have a tricky run of fixtures on the horizon.
After Palace, they have consecutive fixtures against Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Leeds then finish the season by playing Brighton and Brentford.
In other Leeds United news, this “exciting” player is worse off under Marsch than he was when Marcelo Bielsa was in charge.
