Leeds United set for fine as severe punishment to rise – ‘You just can’t do it’
Leeds United fans are among the most passionate in the country.
Unfortunately, that does sometimes cross the line, leading to punishment, but it does make Elland Road one of the hardest places to visit.
Daniel Farke has only tasted one home defeat since Leeds’ return to the Premier League, beating Everton and drawing with Newcastle and Bournemouth along the way.

There are moments when the passion can go too far, though, with Mohammed Kudus and Pedro Porro both targets of objects thrown from the crowd in Leeds’ 2-1 defeat versus Spurs.
It has since been confirmed that the FA are investigating Leeds over the incidents.
Speaking exlcusively to MOT Leeds News, football finance expert Dan Plumley admitted that a fine is likely guaranteed, and repeat offences will make it more severe.
“That’s the risk you’re running,” Plumley said.
“You just can’t do it, and you know the club is going to get hit in the pocket, and you know that for multiple offences, the severity of those fines tends to go up.

“It’s the only way that the authorities can really deal with it, so we don’t want to see it, and we know it happens still, and there’s no other way it goes. If it carries on, that pound number on the fine number will get higher ultimately.”
Leeds United face another FA fine
Leeds have relatively stayed away from FA trouble in the Premier League.
Keith Hackett suggested that Leeds could face a fine for turning up late against Fulham, but that appears to have been avoided since that defeat.
Farke himself has faced trouble, but he has also received several apology letters over things such as refereeing decisions in the past two years in West Yorkshire.
The German wasn’t too happy with the officials in the defeat against Tottenham, but it was matters off the pitch that appear more likely to land Leeds in hot water.
This is certainly something to watch over the international break, and as Plumley says, you simply can’t do these things and get away with them.
