Leeds United paperwork may not hit public eye for some time with new twist - Finance Expert

We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…

Dan Plumley has insisted that you may not see documents hit the public eye for quite some time regarding Elland Road ownership at Leeds United.

It was revealed earlier in the month that Andrea Radrizzani and Elland Road Limited still held control of the stadium, something which may now have changed under the radar.

The finance expert admitted the paperwork may not be in the public eye straight away, as those updates and developments take time, especially on Companies House.

“The time which a deal is done and the time the documents hit the public domain through Companies House where there are changes of assets and anything financial, those things take time,” he exclusively told MOT Leeds News.

“We don’t often see them in the public eye until much later down the track.

“It seems to be that the change in ownership will incorporate all of those things, including the stadium and it could just be a publication timing of things in respect to the documentation.”

The Yorkshire Evening Post reported on 20 October that Radrizzani is no longer a person of control in Elland Road Limited, with paperwork being released quietly.

With no further details being released or reported, it looks as though the 49ers have finally taken full control of all assets after their takeover.

In other Leeds United news, our Expert also believes that the Whites could fine one of their players after an incident
