Leeds United offered new loan signing by Crystal Palace ahead of transfer deadline
Crystal Palace youngster Franco Umeh-Chibueze will be at a higher risk of injury should he join Leeds United for first-team football, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the Whites will have to bring him along methodically due to his lack of senior football.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Umeh-Chibueze:
“He will be at higher risk of injury during the adaptation phase to first-team football and the key for him will be managing his overall workload – whether that’s in the gym, training, or with match minutes.
“Have to bring him along methodically but it’s certainly preferable to play in the Championship than the Premier League.
“This is a move that could benefit both the player and the parent club towards getting him in shape for senior football.”
Leeds United must avoid bringing in Franco Umeh-Chibueze
Leeds are unlikely to consider signing Umeh-Chibueze on loan, despite his promise.
At 19, the Irishman lacks the first-team experience necessary for the Championship’s intensity, where immediate impact is crucial.

His potential, while high, remains untested at this level, posing a risk of underperformance or adaptation issues and Palace appear to be using Leeds as a developmental club rather than it being a beneficial move for the Whites.
In other Leeds United news, a Rangers star is likely to pass his medical before sealing a move to Elland Road ahead of the transfer deadline.
