Leeds United may sell Kalvin Phillips over Raphinha – Sky Sports pundit
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United...
Leeds United would be more likely to sell Kalvin Phillips in the summer than Raphinha if bids were again made for the duo, according to Paul Robinson.
In January, West Ham tabled £50million bids to sign Phillips, 26, and Raphinha, 25, from Leeds but both were rejected by the Yorkshire giants [London Evening Standard].
If West Ham – or any other club – return for the two internationals in the summer transfer window then Robinson feels that if either of them has to be sold, then it’s likely to be Phillips.

“You look at West Ham coming in with cheeky bids for Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips, if they are to cash in on one of those, it can only be one of them,” Robinson told MOT Leeds News.
“They’re going to have to sell a player for money to strengthen and one of them has got to go to make the squad more robust.
“In my opinion, it would be Kalvin Phillips.”

On 6 February, the Daily Star reported that Phillips has urged Leeds to offer him a new and improved contract amid rising interest from elsewhere.
It is understood that West Ham actually made three offers for the England midfielder in January.
Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid are also said to have made enquiries about the Leeds-born star, whose agent has spoken out publicly about his client’s future.
As quoted by the Daily Star, Kevin Sharp said: “Kalvin was pleased that Leeds turned those offers down.
“He has never asked to leave Leeds in all his time with the club and has no intention of doing that now or in the summer.”
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay has dropped an injury tweet about Stuart Dallas after a “massive blow” against Everton.
