Leeds United: Jesse Marsch relationship with Mateusz Klich ‘fragmented’ as footage emerges – pundit
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United...
Mateusz Klich could be offloaded by Jesse Marsch in the summer with their relationship at Leeds United breaking down, according to Paul Robinson.
On Monday night, as Leeds drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace, 31-year-old Klich was substituted off at half-time after footage showed him having an argument with Marsch on the touchline.
Robinson is surprised by how much Klich has played this season but feels that once the summer comes around, the Poland midfielder could be one of the players who’s bombed out by Marsch as he aims to revamp the squad.
“Klich’s played more than I expected him to this season but his relationship with the manager seems fragmented,” Robinson told MOT Leeds News.
“We’ve not heard what was said on the pitch when they exchanged dialogue but it doesn’t seem to be a harmonious relationship.

“Marsch is going to without doubt reshape the team because there’s a reason why he was brought in.
“It’s very rare that a manager gets a job when a team is playing well so changes need to be made.
“Players need to be moved out and others need to come in – especially when it’s a new manager who’ll want to bring his own players in.
“Klich could fall foul of that.”
Klich has made 32 appearances in all competitions for Leeds this season, playing mainly due to injuries for teammates like Kalvin Phillips and Adam Forshaw.
The former Twente midfielder has two years left to run on a contract at Elland Road which Football Insider reported in 2019 to be worth over £20,000-a-week.
In other Leeds United news, Raphinha and Phillips have send messages to one of their exit-linked teammates.
