Leeds United investors reject to pump more cash in as reasons emerge – Exclusive
Leeds United are being backed heavily by the 49ers Enterprises after promotion back to the Premier League.
Leicester, Ipswich Town and Southampton recently made it consecutive seasons of the three newly-promoted teams being immediately relegated, showing the challenge ahead.
Leeds and the 49ers have raised £120million by issuing new shares to existing investors as they are now a top-flight club and will receive additional revenue in line with that.
However, some investors have rejected the opportunity to inject more into the Yorkshire outfit.

Reasons behind Leeds developments explained
The £120milllion that the 49ers have injected into Leeds will be a welcome boost, but some investors are clearly erring on the side of caution.
Of course, those involved in finances must know when to stop, and there comes a point when a limit must be reached.
Football finance expert Dan Plumley has explained the possible reasons behind the lack of further investment by some investors at Leeds.
“It’s personal, this comes down to,” he exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
“The working assumption will be that it will be personal motives.
“This is the reality of dealing with shareholders in boardrooms: you have to have that majority, you’re not always going to get it, but if you have more people who are onboard with the decision, that’s the way it goes.
“It’s one of those examples, I think, where you can’t please everybody all the time, which is the reality of the sport.
“It would seem from the outside looking in, that any kind of reasons there would be personal.”

Leeds United seeking Premier League experience
When analysing the players linked with a move to Leeds this summer, it is obvious they have a type.
The Elland Road outfit have been linked with several players with Premier League experience, with most on the fringes.
Newcastle United trio Callum Wilson, Nick Pope, and Sean Longstaff have all been touted with moves to the newly promoted club.
Elsewhere, Kalvin Phillips has been tipped for a sensational return to Elland Road, while Emi Buendia is also under consideration.
Leeds have clearly identified a formula to aid survival, but the question is, at what price?
