Leeds United injury news: Major Pascal Struijk update emerges
Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk is expected to miss the next two games due to injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that there is a possibility of the setback being a lot worse than that as well and has issued a season-ending verdict.
Daniel Farke told the media that there will be further assessment that takes place to gauge the centre-back’s condition.

Struijk looks at eight weeks on the sidelines due to injury
There is a possibility of the former Netherlands under-17 international not returning again this season.
If there is a fracture, as Farke fears, he will require eight weeks to recover from it, meaning that the earliest he can return is in June.

The Championship play-off final is on 24 May – the last fixture of the season in the English second tier.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Dr Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said about Struijk: “Based on the most recent update from Farke, he will be out at least the next two matches as he continues to be assessed and there is potential concern for a fracture.
“If that is the case, he will likely miss the rest of the season as lower body fractures average around eight weeks for recovery time and can be even trickier when on the foot like his is.“

Leeds United lose Struijk in the business end of the campaign
The last thing Farke would’ve wanted would be one of his reliable defenders being ruled out for the season due to an injury.
At a stage when Leeds have squandered their advantage in the promotion race, the German will turn to experienced heads to offer balance and calm things behind the scenes.
Hopefully, the Dutchman’s injury is not as bad as first feared and he can recover soon and be ready for the final games in April.
