Leeds United injury news: Doctor shares season-ending Jeremiah Mullen update
Leeds United youngster Jeremiah Mullen has been ruled out for the rest of the season, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that he’s got a stress fracture in his back and will not be back in training until June at the earliest.
It’s also understood to be an injury to that sustained by Marley Wilson recently and even he will be out for the rest of the season.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Mullen:
“My initial instinct is that it’s a similar injury to that of Marley Wilson.
“Mullen has suffered what’s called a stress fracture in his back. In terms of one potentially recovering faster than the other, there are so many variables that go into recovery which can influence that.
“He won’t need surgery but he’s probably not returning to training before June and it could even be longer.“
Leeds United will assist with Mullen’s rehabilitation
The last thing anyone involved will be to rush him back earlier than normal and then face the risk of re-injury.
The 19-year-old had left on loan to play for Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC until the end of the season.

However, his time at the Scottish club will now be coming to an end as he will not be back in time for the final games in May.
In other Leeds United news, the club have now made moves in order to secure their first permanent transfer of the summer.
