‘Leeds United in window to sack Daniel Farke’ as pinch point emerges – Exclusive

Leeds United may have missed their window to sack Daniel Farke.

Farke is under serious pressure at Elland Road, but looks to have been given a lifeline by the 49ers Enterprises, despite growing unrest from fans.

Leeds fell to heavy defeats against Brighton and Nottingham Forest before the final international break of the year, which opened up an opportunity for change.

That hasn’t happened, and Farke looks set to take charge of the Whites in huge games against Aston Villa, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Farke isn’t safe for the rest of the year, though.

When could Daniel Farke be sacked?

Dan Plumley has shared that an international break is usually the time clubs would choose to change managers, to avoid overpaying.

The football finance expert admitted that Farke could still be sacked ahead of the January transfer window, but that would make it tight for new signings and other decisions at Elland Road.

“It gives you a window,” Plumley exclusively told MOT Leeds News.

“Obviously, they are in a two-week break from fixtures, and then you’re into a busy Christmas period, and we know they pile up.

Sometimes you look at managerial changes, and if they’re going to happen, they’re in and around the earlier part of the season, or they could pull the trigger around Christmas, with the particular view on the January window, and can you do something quickly?

Again, you’re up against it there as January is always a tight window, so it’s those kinds of timings that clubs are looking at.

Of course, clubs can still sack managers on any day, but ultimately, if you are looking at doing it, the international break gives you a window and January is always a pinch point.”

This is how much Daniel Farke sack could be worth

Plumley has previously shared that it could be worth £60million to sack Farke.

Leeds dropping into the Championship again would see them instantly lose that in revenue terms, with television money and annual payments shrinking overnight.

Is Farke the man to keep Leeds in the Premier League? The majority are saying no.
