Leeds United have added Alexis Vossah to their list of summer transfer targets, MOT Leeds News understands.

Vossah has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in his home country with Toulouse, having made 18 appearances across all competitions before his 18th birthday.

The teenager made only his second senior appearance for Toulouse against PSG earlier this season, and despite being on the wrong side of a 6-3 scoreline, he marked his breakthrough with a goal against the Ligue 1 giants.

Leeds are already preparing a list of targets for the summer, regardless of which division they find themselves in, and Vossah is on it, as per information received by MOT Leeds News.

What should Leeds fans know about Alexis Vossah?

Leeds targeted experience in the previous summer window, and while that will still be on the agenda at the end of the current campaign, a blend of youth is likely to be added.

And that’s where Vossah comes in, having only just turned 18 last week, despite being a regular in the top flight of French football already.

The Frenchman is a defensive midfielder by trade, which is a position that the Whites are actively looking to bolster, with Ethan Ampadu, who has impressed for Leeds, the only natural option they have in that area of the pitch.

His strengths certainly lie with his physicality, with Vossah having won a remarkable 75 per cent of his aerial duels this season, which is again something that Leeds have shown a liking to.

Toulouse anticipating summer interest in Vossah

Leeds aren’t the only club eyeing a move for the teenager, and should he maintain his current form for the remainder of the campaign, even more teams are likely to join the hunt.

For Toulouse, they want to keep hold of one of their most promising talents, but there is an understanding that interest from Europe’s elites could force their hand.

Vossah is under contract until the summer of 2028; however, this means they will be in a strong position to demand a reasonable transfer fee for his exit, should that occur.
