Leeds United: Brenden Aaronson long-term eyesight issues shared by Doctor

Leeds United loanee and current Union Berlin attacking midfielder Brenden Aaronson is unlikely to face long-term issues, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert has reacted as the United States international complained about not being able to see and needing treatment despite starting the game on 16 March.

He had put eyedrops and vapour rub and that affected his vision, but the issue appears to have been dealt with as well.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds NewsBrar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Aaronson:

Really difficult to comment on this without knowing more about what caused it.

“All we know is a chemical process and by the looks of it, it is dealt with.

If it’s a one-off situation where his vision is blurry for a non-neurological reason then I wouldn’t expect much of an issue going forward or any real long-term consequences.

Relief for the Leeds United-owned Aaronson

It’s a relief for everyone involved that there are no reactions or consequences to the issue which took place earlier this month.

Aaronson may not play again at Elland Road as it’s highly unlikely Daniel Farke would want him back so a summer exit may be on the cards.

This season, the 23-year-old has failed to impress, scoring two goals and providing no assists in 22 league games.

In other Leeds United news, the club have now made moves in order to secure their first permanent transfer of the summer.
