Leeds United attacker Largie Ramazani injury update issued by Doctor

Leeds United attacker Largie Ramazani is not at immediate risk of injury despite his erratic minutes last season, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that the Whites will need to be careful in terms of bridging the physical demands of the two leagues with the game in England known to be more physical and potentially played at a higher tempo as well.

Last season, the 23-year-old Belgian played the full 90 minutes just twice in La Liga in 2024 and did not play any of the last six games for Almeria

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds NewsBrar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Ramazani:

Ramazani played regularly last season and stayed injury-free even though his minutes were erratic.

Leeds will need to be methodical with ramping up the overall workload and bridging gaps for differences in physical demands between the leagues.

Had they been in the Premier League, more consideration would’ve had to be taken as the number and duration of sprints for example are higher than any other league so players moving from Spain will have to train for that.

“The quality of the second tier is not comparable to La Liga so he should be capable of hitting the ground running and he’s not in immediate risk of injury.

Largie Ramazani is an important signing for Leeds United

The 23-year-old made his Whites debut against Hull City on 31 August and Daniel Farke will be looking for him to be a first-team regular.

The Belgian is capable of playing on either flank and down the middle as well and it remains to be seen if he is used in the Georginio Rutter role.

Ramazani is capable of being a creative outlet in the final third and if his arrival sees the likes of Joel Piroe and Wilfried Gnonto thrive, Leeds could be on their way to getting promoted.
