Junior Firpo will be left out of Leeds United line-up v Crystal Palace despite Jesse Marsch news – pundit
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United...
Paul Robinson expects Stuart Dallas to continue playing at left-back despite Jesse Marsch saying Junior Firpo has recovered from his latest injury.
Firpo, 25, has missed the last four games but speaking to talkSPORT on 12 April, Whites boss Marsch confirmed that the ex-Barcelona left-back would be returning to training.
It has been over a week since Marsch’s last update and there are also four more days before Leeds play Palace so there’s a very good chance that Firpo will be available.

However, Robinson isn’t a fan of Firpo and expects Dallas to keep hold of his spot at left-back in Marsch’s starting line-up at Selhurst Park early next week.
Speaking to MOT Leeds News, Robinson said: “Firpo, for me, has been too unpredictable this season.
“He’s given away far too many goals and far too many chances.
“And I think they still need points on the board and they still need wins.
“It’s the case of picking the strongest team and at the moment, Stuart Dallas is the better player at left-back than Firpo has been.”

Firpo has made 19 Premier League appearances since joining from Barcelona last summer.
He’s only started in three of Leeds’ wins and in one of them, he was forced off with an injury after 23 minutes.
In other Leeds United news, this young prospect is quitting Leeds and turned out for his potential new club on Tuesday night.
