Jota Silva unlikely to face issues with medical as Leeds United transfer update emerges
Leeds United are reportedly keen on securing the services of Nottingham Forest winger Jota Silva in the next couple of weeks.
Daniel Farke wants the Leeds hierarchy to sign more players before the transfer window closes on 1 September.
Silva, 26, is a target for the Elland Road outfit, despite moving to the City Ground in 2024.
Leeds have signed Dominic Calvert-Lewin and are now considering securing the services of a wide attacker.

This piece includes exclusive opinion from injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist.
Silva had no injury problems last season
While Silva played 31 Premier League games last season, he started only five of them, primarily used as a bench player by Nuno Espirito Santo.
However, as he did not face any injury issues, Dr Rajpal Brar does not see him facing any problems clearing his medical.
According to Correio da Manha, the Whites are not the only club keen on his services, with Sporting CP also in the mix.
The Portuguese paper claimed in its print edition (11 August, page 6) that the 26-year-old fancies a move to Sporting over Elland Road.
- Forest paid £5.9m to sign Silva last summer
- The 26-year-old is capable of playing across the front line
- The winger made 31 appearances in the Premier League last season
Speaking about Jota’s potential transfer, Dr Brar told MOT Leeds News: “While his minutes were erratic last season, it did not seem to be a fitness issue.
“He had no injury problems and that bodes well for a club looking to sign him and his Premier League experience will help in adapting if he is to join another Premier League club.
“It’s unlikely he faces any problem clearing his medical.”

Leeds United can follow up with approach for SIlva
If Leeds United are serious about signing Silva and his potential move to Sporting does not go ahead, they should swiftly contact his agent to discuss a transfer to Elland Road.
Silva’s versatility and Premier League experience make him a valuable target for Farke’s attack.
The Whites’ financial capability could secure the 26-year-old winger, bolstering their squad for the Premier League and giving them the best chance to avoid relegation.
