Jamie O’Hara slammed after what he said about Leeds United and Tottenham, ‘Clown’
Paul Robinson has slammed Jamie O’Hara after Leeds United were dragged into his Tottenham rant following the North London Derby on Sunday (15 September).
Following Spurs’ 1-0 loss to Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the talkSPORT presenter took to X to voice his frustration over the club signing “Championship players”, having signed Archie Gray from Elland Road this summer.
O’Hara was instantly embarrassed on social media after his claim that he would rather take Aaron Lennon, Tom Huddlestone, Robbie Keane, Jermaine Defoe and Rafael van der Vaart over the current players was torn apart.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Robinson said: “Clown. It’s not his finest moment and I think he’s been reminded of that.
“I can put myself in that category because I was signed from Leeds in the Championship, and a year after, Aaron Lennon was exactly the same. He didn’t cover himself in glory but I think it was just an off-the-cuff rant.”

O’Hara is never one to hide his true feelings, but it feels like this is one time he should have decided to bite his tongue, having caused a fire on social media.
Spurs are sitting in thirteenth place in the Premier League after the first four matches of the campaign, losing against Newcastle and Arsenal, but the signing of Championship players is hardly to blame.
While 18-year-old Gray has yet to be given a proper opportunity by Ange Postecoglou since moving from West Yorkshire, there is no doubt he is a very talented youngster.
Due to the significant amount of talent in the middle of the park, Gray is struggling to stamp his mark in North London, but given the chance, he will blow O’Hara’s comments out of the water.
The midfielder, who was utilised at right-back by Daniel Farke, was an instant success during his breakout season at Elland Road last term, and he is just another star who earned his move to the Premier League.
In other Leeds United news, Daniel Farke must axe “slow” ace v Cardiff City, who was at fault against Burnley.
