Jack Harrison 'not good enough' as Leeds United return gets closer at Thorp Arch
Jack Harrison faces an uncertain future at Leeds United.
The Whites ace spent the last two seasons on loan at Everton, notching a measly total of four goals and three assists in 63 Premier League appearances.
The Blues have not made that loan deal permanent, and the 28-year-old will return to Elland Road with Daniel Farke's side now a top-flight outfit again.
However, whether the ex-Manchester City attacker will be a part of the Peacocks' squad for their time back at the very top remains to be seen.
Leeds need to upgrade on Harrison
Harrison abandoned the Whites as they were relegated to the Championship, and many supporters in LS11 hold a grudge against him.
He could now return to action for Farke's side as they are back among England's elite, but iconic commentator Ian Darke has questioned whether he should.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, he said: “I don’t know that he is an upgrade on what they have got, if I am honest with you.
“I think he is a useful player, who has his days, but maybe if you are being harsh, probably not quite enough of them at Premier League level.
“I think he would be a useful squad addition as someone to have around, but is he going to be the difference between staying up and not staying up? I wouldn’t have thought so."
Leeds have tough decision to make on Harrison future
Farke faces a tough decision on whether to reintegrate Harrison or let him move on.
The Whites loanee scored just one goal with Everton in the top-flight last season, which suggests that his impact would be limited if he was given the chance to stick around.
The Yorkshire outfit has Dan James and look to be pushing to re-sign Manor Solomon from Tottenham, so the ex-New York City FC man would be a back-up option at best.
However, it makes sense to allow the two-time England Under-21 international to depart as supporters are unlikely to come around to his return, and he is unlikely to have much effect on their survival bid.
