Injury Expert issues Willy Gnonto update for Leeds United v Norwich City clash
We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Leeds United...
Leeds United attacker Willy Gnonto appears to be on course to return to action post the international break, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert believes that it’s quite a complex setback but gathering from the information made available, the Italian is likely to be back soon.
Gnonto started the season as a first-team regular despite him wanting to leave, but has not played due to surgery on his foot.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Gnonto:
“It’s quite difficult to say anything general timeline because the information is quite general.
“It says that it’s a minor procedure on his foot.
“The foot is quite complex so it’s hard to make any educated guesses off that.
“That being said, it sounds like the aim is for him to return following the international break and he does seem to be on course for that.“

Gnonto will undoubtedly have to work his socks off if he is to win his place back in the playing eleven.
Right now, Dan James, Jaidon Anthony and Crysencio Summerville are playing exceptionally and a case can be made for all of them deserving to start every game.
Joel Piroe and Georginio Rutter are virtually undroppable and appear to have built good chemistry as well by now.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that big European clubs have been keeping tabs on a Whites player for a while and are still willing to sign him.
