'Fantastic game, there will be goals' – Exclusive: Paul Robinson predicts score in Spurs v Leeds

We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…

Paul Robinson has played for Leeds and Tottenham and he’s predicting his two former teams will share the spoils on Saturday.

Leeds travel to Spurs on a high after two wins to nil, against Burnley and West Brom.

Six goals for and none against will make it a happy New Year’s Eve for Leeds, while Spurs have only one won in the last five.

Robinson is predicting goals and thinks that Leeds can come away with a point in a “fantastic” 2-2 draw on Saturday afternoon.

Talking exclusively to MOT Leeds News Robinson said, “I think it’s going to be a really good game because Spurs have been criticised for scoring one goal and then sitting back for 89 minutes.

“We know the firepower they’ve got and I think they’ll be looking to score goals on Saturday. We know Leeds will.

“I certainly can’t see a 0-0 and I think it will be a thoroughly entertaining game, a fantastic game and I think there will be goals in it.

“I’m going to go for an optimistic 2-2 draw from Leeds’ perspective but I think it’s a game that Spurs have to win.

“I struggle to see Leeds keeping a clean sheet.”

Leeds can move onto the same points as Tottenham with a win, Spurs would vault up to third in the league with the three points.

Most Leeds fans would take a 2-2 draw now and it would be a huge point in a game where we’re not really expected to come away with anything.
