We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…
Paul Robinson has said he thinks the new Leeds United kits are “fantastic” after the Adidas designs for the 20/21 season were leaked online.
The official announcement was made on July 21 when Leeds heralded a “record-breaking” five-year deal with the sportswear giants.
Reliable leaks site Footy Headlines released new images of both the home and away kit, which MOT Leeds News has since been told closely resemble the new strips that are set to be unveiled soon.
We showed the leaked strips to Robinson and he gave them a big thumbs up.
Talking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Robinson said, “I think the new kits are fantastic and represent the club and its history very well.
“The partnership with global brand Adidas shows the club’s profile and status.
“It’s a fantastic deal for Leeds and it shows the level they’ve got to and how they’re viewed in the football world.”
Robinson also predicted that sales could be stellar with interest from fans running high after promotion to the Premier League.
“Leeds and Adidas is the perfect match and I think shirt sales will be huge.”
The leaked shirts haven’t gone down so well with all the Leeds fans, although you’re never going to please everyone.
The away kit will look slightly different, too. Respected Leeds podcast The Square Ball confirmed that this was the away kit but that the colours were a bit off in the photo.
They said, “It’s green and blue”
Aye that’s the away shirt. Colours are a bit off in the photo though. It’s green and blue.

So, a bit like this then, for anyone who’s saying green and blue isn’t Leeds…
Given the leaks and the fact the kits are obviously ready, we’re expecting an official announcement from Leeds very soon.
