FA to ‘investigate Sheffield United’ after what happened v Leeds – Exculsive
Sheffield United will be investigated by The FA after an incident as Leeds battled to a huge 3-1 win at Bramall Lane, Keith Hackett says.
The Whites went behind on Monday in the crucial Championship clash, but goals from Junior Firpo, Ao Tanaka and Joel Piroe saw Leeds secure another huge three points.
Following the second goal from Tanaka, footage emerged of security having to keep Leeds players away from an angry Sheffield United fan who nearly entered the field of play.

FA to investigate Sheffield United incident
Hackett admits that the footage will be investigated, with the Ground Safety Officer and Police reviewing the event following the win for Leeds.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, the ex-FIFA referee and PGMOL chief believes that the incident will be looked at closely.
“The FA if they see this film clip of the Sheffield United supporter will be investigating and asking why this supporter was allowed onto the perimeter of the field of play,” Hackett said.
“I have no doubt that the Ground Safety Officer of the club and the Head of Police will be reviewing this event and determining what they can learn from this highly charged encounter.
“Generally, the fans were well-behaved.”

Leeds United flying to Premier League
Daniel Farke remained subdued and humble after the win at Bramall Lane, but even he will know that his side now has one foot back in the Premier League.
Five points clear of Sheffield United and seven clear of Burnley, it is in the hands of Leeds not to mess this opportunity up again, with eyes still on last season.

As for the potential crowd trouble at Bramall Lane, nothing appeared to happen and a Yorkshire derby is expected to create a special atmosphere, with little punishment, if any surely expected.
West Brom are next up for Leeds at Elland Road on 1 March, with an early kick-off giving them to extend that lead even further at the top of the Championship.
